La Guajira, Colombia: a culturally rich region navigating complex social and environmental challenges.

Hundreds of Wayúu children face multidimensional poverty, lacking food security, access to clean water, and educational opportunities to thrive.

Despite the challenges, the Pulitchamana community has worked hand in hand with dedicated partners for over a decade to transform their reality through education and reforestation.

Let's contribute to a better future

It's time to innovate by growing food in the desert through aquaponic systems that will generate food for the entire community.

The change has already started in the heart of La Guajira’s desert. Aquaponics combines fish farming and plant cultivation without using soil, drastically reducing water consumption and making it possible to farm in even the harshest terrain.

This is more than a farm.

It’s an outdoor classroom. A lab for education and opportunities. A tool for generational change.

“I never imagined watching kids grow tomatoes in the desert. Now I see them growing self-confidence too.”
